Emanuela Marcenaro
Emanuela Marcenaro is Full Professor of Histology at the University of Genoa, where she also serves
as Vice-President of the Strategic University Center for Safety, Risk, and Vulnerability. She is an
active member of the University Technology Transfer Commission, sits on the Department Board,
and acts as Departmental Coordinator for Third Mission activities, alongside other institutional
responsibilities.
She leads a research group at the Molecular Immunology Laboratory within the Department of
Experimental Medicine, focusing on the phenotypic and functional characterization of human
Natural Killer (NK) cells, key effectors in immune surveillance against cancer.
