Emily Mace
Dr. Emily Mace is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she leads a laboratory focused on understanding human lymphocyte development and function. She earned her PhD from the University of British Columbia in 2010 and did postdoctoral training with Dr. Jordan Orange at the University of Pennsylvania and Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Mace's research specializes in human natural killer (NK) cell development, using quantitative image analysis and advanced microscopy techniques, including super-resolution microscopy. Her work includes studying rare patients with NK cell deficiencies to identify novel requirements for human NK cell development.
